question for the wizards, if there are any left...

does the loneliness ever go away? do you ever truly come to peace with the knowledge that you're going to die alone, or does it never really get better? i'm not asking to try and get a reaction or anything, i'm a 28yr old khhv, no friends, etc etc, and quite frankly i know that's never going to change at this point. i guess i just want to be at peace with my situation, but can't quite seem to get there...

I'm also 28
I was doing ok for a couple years there, things were improving with my job and living situation and that distracted me I guess.
Now I'm seeing that this is probably going to be it for the rest of my life and I'm two steps from blowing my head off

I'm 31 and I try to occupy myself with small, easily achievable goals, such as reading a few chapters in my book, learning how to tie a new knot, or making progress on a project I'm working on. Most days are okay, but sometimes it's hard when you're forced to look at what your peers are up to and you see them enjoying the company of friends and family, entertaining their romantic interests, and raising kids.

It never goes away. It pops up from time to time, but it eventually settles again. Then you have to deal with actual life agsin like bills, retirement, vehicle problems, mortgage on the house, etc.
