Imagine if you had, what appeared to be on the surface, the highest functioning societies in human history. Highest health, highest happiness, highest average intelligence. Everybody was going to make it, there was a future to believe in. Then your government and some NGOs decided that what your society actually needed was millions upon millions of resentful foreigners to bring down labour costs and pump up housing costs. The "muh stolen resources" point is entirely moot when places like Africa exist, which is the most resource rich continent on the planet, yet has never been taken advantage of by the natives because the various groups that inhabit the continent are incapable of doing so. It doesn't matter if they are rich in natural resources or not, because they don't have the capacity to use them.
It gets even worse when you realize on an evolutionary timescale, Africans have had a head start of tens of thousands of years to develop more advanced societies, yet lost to a bunch of R1Bs from thousands of miles away.

Colonization by Europe was the best thing that happened to the countries that they colonized btw. Every country that was colonized under the British, for example, enjoys a better standard of living than those that were never colonized. It was certainly an important accomplishment and there are some notable contributions to the field of algebra, but they weren't discovering entirely new fields of mathematics.

While the contributions of other parts of the world are important, the vast majority of the foundations of these fields before modern times still came out of Europe. Furthermore, modern(last ~200 years) technological achievements have come almost exclusively from Europe.
