It's kinda crazy how much economic status matters as an adult. I was raised in a trailer and shared a room with three people but in High School I dated a girl who lived in a two-story house with her own room. Stepping inside her house for the first time was legit mind blowing at first but despite our differences we got along so well.

I legit cannot fathom entering into that sort of relationship as an adult. That memory feels so alien to me now. Women will unconsciously reject you inside their heads simply based on what kind of car you drive.

I remember at high school there was a manlet that coped with coming from a rich family, and everyone treated him like a fucking joke.

I do agree that economic status matters later on, but around 14-18 it seems to be more about looks.
