I would say you should run a compressor on the guitar, that's why it's coming through so overly bassy on all the power cords. Compress the vocals too, lightly. It also sounds like you're just plugging an acoustic electric in but you should really just record it with a microphone, you can keep the plugged in track and record it at the same time but mix it in the background. Same thing on the super doubled vocals, make them into chords. Root, fifth, 3rd. Your rhythm for coming up with melodies is good, the timbre of the vocals works. But improve the production and arrange the vocals around harmonies.

Thanks for the rec, I like it! It's strange but the music I listen to is often different than what I like to sing. Mostly because these days Ive only really been listening at the gym and that requires a certain tempo lol. In terms of what I like to sing and what I might listen to just sitting at home... It's really all over the place and dependant on what my voice sounds good with at any given point in time, and I usually get obsessed with specific songs instead of sticking with any given artist or album. I do really like to sing songs by city and color. I think yesterday in the shower I was singing "Silver and Gold" by him. I also like singing songs with a bit more rasp and soul like what I posted in this thread, but I usually have to intentionally make my voice sound like that or wait until early morning or late night when my voice gets scratchier. I have posted on here before singing Angels on the Moon by Thriving Ivory and people seemed to like it.
