It will always be Vice City. Legendary protagonist, characters, soundtrack and story; though it should have been longer and a larger map. III is good but bare bones; revolutionary for GTA. SA was an epic, despite the gangbanger crap. Loved the interconnected references and characters. The Stories games were nice prequels to III and VC. GTA IV, TLAD and TBoGT became an epic overlapping story and obviously gave rise to the multiple player characters in the next one. GTA V was good, but too short, being so heist dependent that it limited ways to make money through missioning, then it was totally overshadowed by Online.
It's just sad that the wonderful run of 2001-09 will never be repeated by Cockstar, who unashamedly milked the fuck out of GTA V and will do it again with VI. Yet again, they are stringing the fans along with delays and will probably promote the hell out of another game in the interim, as they did when we waited for V. Multiple characters was an interesting idea, but I don't like how they watered down V's story. It was much better done with the 'IV trilogy', though the expansions could have been double the length. The new one had better be at least a hundred missions or more. But no doubt it will be an afterthought for the Online, which they will milk for over a decade and multiple console generations. No, I will not re-buying it for PS6 when you port it there, so fuck off C*.
I finally started re-playing Vice City and it's been so much fun and nostalgic. Just a shame the remastered version for PS5 is said to be crappy.
>>81802118 (OP)I like 3, LCS, and 4 the most because of kino atmosphere of Liberty City.
>>81802118 (OP)IV is fun if you like technical crossfires, realistic car handling and a dark story. if you dont like those dont even bother.
