If it makes you feel better, most teenage relationships kinda fall apart and leave you agonising over what could've been, especially if you don't have much romantic experience afterwards. That was certainly my experience between the ages of 16 and 24. It must suck more when it felt like it was out of your control though.

Don't feel bad for something your parents forced you to do. They could've made your life a lot worse if you hadn't done what you did.
