i tried to fit into other websites and they all sucked. reddit was cringe. altchans were slow. the sharty was mega cringe. i can't believe im saying this but without 4chan i would literally have nowhere else to go. whether i like it or not, this is my home. im here forever.

Worst 2 weeks in a long time

I have the opposite "problem". I hop on every so often and this place sort of becomes sort of boring quick. I begin to recognize the same-y patterns and similar conversations and ruling out threads I'm not interested in or are stupid everything becomes sort of boring and I leave. Discussions don't seem to last that long.

True, I functioned on other altchans well enough but I always opened up /r9k/ out of habit only to remember that it was mortis.
and went right back, life didn't improve and nothing happened, I was just a lot more bored and having "shit" get changed to "raisin" was annoying as fuck.

At a glance that might sound laughable but the people you meet in real life are just as influenced by Tiktok culture, Reddit culture, etc. They're vain, cowardly, and act totally alien. It does come down to the internet, we all have it and we all are interfacing with it. Not that it always matters, we're people in the end, but it is significant
