I think my worst issue is just the fact that I cant gain enough calories

Get yourself some canned fish, lots of calies in there. Or get a powdered gainer.

More calories alone won't fix that feelio friend. Try adding exercise with it. You can start off slow with just simple walks (outdoors to get the Sun's rays and steal its energy) or just start lifting immediately.

Yup, feels good cause you're stealing the Sun's energy, it's not a meme. Get more fulfillment by making it into a cardio routine. More enery from Sun + better body and results in cardio will feel better.

I assume you're just trying to get food into your body, I struggle with this too.
My advice is to find a few foods that you can consistently get down easy.
For me it's pizza, mcdonalds burgers and burritos.
Rotate between these foods but don't eat one too much otherwise you'll get burnt out from it and not be able to stomach it for a few months
But if you're tired of one thing, then just don't eat it until you randomly crave it again.
This strat isn't the pinnacle of health I know, but at the same time it's better to eat something than to not eat at all.
