There's LOTS of men out there that hurt and abuse their gf/wife, both physically and emotionally
I don't see the problem in having 2 wives if you love and take care of both. Better to share a good husband than to have a trash guy all for yourself

I don't see what stops an abusive man from gathering a harem at that point. He already has an easier time getting women than non abusive men.
