the folks around me keep telling me to feel bad because i dont have x or i dont have y
but i dont feel bad about it

why should i feel bad about not having a girlfriend?
why should i feel bad about not owning the latest car or following the the latest fashion trend?

everyone's lives are different - their situations, their health, their mental state
some reach a certain age and they've got it all while others it might take longer
so i don't feel bad about not having any of those things?
