be honest with me. Is there even any real point to male-male friendships? Like yeah you get maybe some momentary enjoyment out of it, but unless you get like a 1/1000 friendship where you basically plan your lives together (which is pretty gay imo). I don't see how it's worth the time investment when they'll either backstab you at some point over a girl, drift away from you, or the relationship will just devolving into competing with each other. Like I fully understand trying to make friends with girls because that'll hopefully turn into a proper romantic relationship eventually which could last a life time and would make every aspect of your life better basically, but just guy friends? Seems like they're more hassle than you get out of it.

The one friend I have is an emotionally unstable retard who throws fits constantly about completely insane nonsense. i have a friend group way back since grade school, we were the "loser's club" of sorts - everything was all fine and dandy
then we grew up
they got "better", they were going somewhere, they didn't have time for me anymore
one of the guys is in IT and makes 80k/year
another guy is an architect, went to the UK to study and all, 150k/year from what i hear
the last of em is a scientist, bio-chemistry shit, works in the oil-and-gas industry and makes like 120k/year

we don't "belong together" anymore, they can afford a lot of shit, they can mingle with the "betters" of society - here i am still broke, still living at my mom's
