>whats the problem with nightshift?
well she's right in the regard that nightshift is shit
I sleep during the day and am awake during the night

but I feel ironically the responsible one for sticking it thru despite the hardships

it's nothing. you do not have an obligation to submit to everything she says, if this is regarding your work life
>well she's right in the regard that nightshift is shit
I worked a night shift last summer and the chill felt great, compared almost 30C during the day

Ah, I see. Well, then functioning during the night two days and during the day for five days really sounds shitty for your health. I usually just did (I don't have that job anymore) the groceries before sleeping then woke up and cooked before going to work in few hours.

If I had made this drawing, I would have added little babies floating up to the surface (this actually happens when you flood an anthill)

I work right out of home, for myself, working on cars. Everything is cash so I don't even have to pay taxes which would be about 30%! And I generally stay up during the night and sleep during the day. It's great in the summertime because you know, July and August are pretty hot months. But how even in the winter I'm up during the night and the sleep during the day! And that's just what my body naturally wants to do because I simply do not go to sleep until I am actually tired. I do not take my Hues for sleeping and waking up from the cycle of the day. If I am tired, I will go lay down and fall asleep within a minute or two. When I am ready to wake up, I simply wake up. I am 35 now and I've been doing this for 10 years and I'll never go back!

Look for another job while you work that. It's a lot easier to find a job if you already have one, employers like that for some fucking reason.

keep your night-shift job, until you have a new job ready to monkey-branch over to. Your mom might be having cold feet about you becoming independent (psychotic toxic femininity smothering shit).

worked nights for 2.5 years now. it's not worth it unless it's a career you have your heart set on. if this is just a job, something you do to bring money in that you don't care about that doesn't pay well, find a new job immediately.

night shift is one of the worst things you can do to yourself. it's isolating, very unhealthy, and *will* make you miserable. maybe not right away, maybe not for a few months, but the lack of sunlight will eventually bite you and from there it's a one way ticket to being miserable all the time. you can't get enough sun on the weekends to counteract it. you can't get enough through the week to counteract it. you're living opposite civilized society and it eats at you like nothing else.

let me put it this way: i really enjoy what i do. i wrangle machines all day, i get parts to within a thousandth of an inch or less, it's autism fuel like nothing else. i would have picked a different career had i known what night shift would do to me.

night shifts are terrible for your health and completely deranging to the mind. you shouldn't do it unless you're already a broken human being.
