Outside of him cheating (subhuman behaviour), and him sexing whores. It was relatable. Painfully relatable. I will never been seen as human by those around me, even the people who got closest to me who were supposed to trust me the most never saw me as a person.

I read the Junji Ito adaptation and it was kind of great.

The bit about the chimp smile at the start stuck with me more than anything else. Due for a reread though.

All i can remember is the part where hes on the roof with his friend while theres a rape(?) happening downstairs. I forget the details. It was enjoyable. Relatable Latter half was weak.

I found his thought process to be painfully similar to my own. It's a "good" book, I guess. But I don't think it's really valuable or worthwhile, at least not for 99% of people. It seems borderline dangerous. It simply made me feel more like shit than I already did. Probably because it just lays bear how stupid and awful life is, and how hopeless that can be, particularly if you're an intelligent autist.

This was my conclusion as well, just read it last week.
I'm sure whenever it came out some sadchad talking about how much of a loser he actually is was revolutionary, but having /r9k/ for a decade it was just boring.

To me the book held no unique perspectives, no new information, no humor, asked no questions, and offered no solutions.
I don't understand why it is as popular as it is, there's nothing of substance in it. My best guess is that w*men read it and recognize that he is a dark triad chad and it makes their pussies tingle.
at least it was short
