I'm 23. For 6 years I've done nothing with my life. I'm too stupid, ugly, depressed and deathly afraid to do anything. I've never had a job. I do nothing all day. I've Never talked to anyone since high school. I dont even know what a conversation is like, thats how long I've gone without talking to anyone. I cant even go outside because I dont want people to look at me and acknowledge I'm ugly, I hide myself to prevent that from happening

I literally cant look anyone in the eyes. I cant even say a simple hello.

I'm stupid. I'm pretty sure my IQ is in the 70-80s

I dont think theres anyone else remotely in the same situation as me. I'm an extremely hopeless embarassing case.

I think I recommended trying to get a part time job the last time I saw you post but I guess that might be too much for you right now. How much do your parents support you? Would they be willing to get you a therapist? That'd be someone you could talk to in a safe, structured environment. Might help you get slightly more relaxed when it comes to being around people. You gotta try something though. Anything. Or everything's just going to keep staying the same.

Driving was a bit scary for me at first but once you get the hang of it, it can be fun. I'd say I'm pretty good at driving now although I don't do it that often

Even if you were as ugly and as low IQ as you claim, you'd still be able to leave the house. You definitely have some mental health issues you're struggling with. And I was mainly recommending therapy as a way to get more comfortable talking to people. Because I'm not sure how well jumping straight into working would go. But if you don't want to try therapy, I guess you could start going out little by little until you get a bit more comfortable around people. I am really sorry you're struggling so much though. How bad are things? Do you go on walks or anything or are you pretty much just stuck inside 24/7?

I had very similar problems and never had a job until I was 24. I didn't really think I was depressed at the time but looking back on it I clearly was. It got easier after starting medication though, and I was barely functional beforehand (I slept maybe 18-22 hours a day)
