Funger has cool lore but gameplay seems meh to me. Maybe ill play it someday. Buckshot roulette is prime doomer game its cathartic to blow my head off with a shotgun.

I prefer the first to the second overall. Graphically and I felt the story was much more intriguing, memorable.

The aesthetic is sublime. Pocketcat is a wonderful character who I relate to on a spiritual level.

Fear and hunger 2 feels better more like a fleshed game and characters in 2 are more charming but fear one is more unique more punishing also fun to speedrun

I actually like f&h for a completely different reason than edgelords here.
It exemplifies perfectly the true roleplaying experience because each your action have like 100 different consequences. There is always more to discover about how the game works. It's pure art of game. You know usually when people talk about games as art they refer to their subliminal qualities like story and art. But when talking about fear and hunger, it's the gameplay that is most artful here. An intricate, complicated puzzle.

Too bad the manages one update with substance per year. Its unironically one of the best games ever imo. The world building and freedom are on another level.

I was playing it before it got well-known and was drawn to it because it was particularly novel in the RPGMaker space. Funny how many people were drawn in by the big pp rape monsters and gay anal sex.
It's actually a bit archaic for a modern RPG Maker game, but it executes it well and does many things 95% of rpgm games are unwilling to do.

i really loved the lore but i have to admit i ended up looking a guide to get the canon ending because i got tired of having to restart thanks to dying because i farted or some other stupid shit, that's the only complaint i have about the game, it really tries to be gritty and hard like a souls game but it takes ages to restart once you die, you have to sit and wait till the splash screen ends, then slog through the main menu, load your save file and finally you can try again, after finishing my first playthrough i just looked at the rest of the endings on youtube and moved on.
another good robro game i can recommend is cry of fear, it tackles all the feels a robot might feel and the creator himself is a complete depressive loser irl.

Yes its trash but if you still want to play it you can rebirth (or cheat) and be an abomination. You can eat whatever is dead and will gain stamina that way. Doesn't excuse the stamina system but allows you to ignore it the entire game.

I saw worm girl play it on YouTube and the the story is very interesting, but turn based isn't really my thing.

Co-op shooters like killing floor, helldivers, space marine 2, and darktide are more my speed, so sometimes I like to listen to turn based RPG stories while playing those.

Limb loss is too easy imo too. It would be better if armor acted as a breakable buffer between it.
