can you explain why the appeal seems to be limited to teenage girls? I'm 32 and the only times I got approached was by a teenage girls (I work at a pool), never a woman over 21. Do they magically just grow out of liking asian men?

i think teenagers are just louder/more obsessive about things they like ngl. and the way asian men are seen has shifted, the old nerd stereotype isn't the main stereotype around them anymore probably, at least among young women and teens especially.

because they look sophisticated and non threatening. They have style like younger guys, even though they are mature men. Me and my friends were crazy abount Gong Yoo as teens, but now in our mid 20s my taste became more normal and I don't care about a guys style anymore and I learned to appreciate body hair as well. I care less about cheekbones now, and more if he has strong arms, a muscular back and a beard. I kinda like average build guys like picrel who look like they can work around the house.

I'm a 26 years east asian khv, and I have never met a single non-Asian girl with "yellow fever", it's true zoomer girls are usually not as hateful and cold/hostile towards us as millennial girls possibly because of increased Asian media exposure, but even to them Asian guys are still at the near bottom of dating pool racial hierarchy, probably only above Indian/south Asian guys
