A guy at my office paints his nails but he isn't a zoomer. He's even older than I am, like in his 40s, and has a wife and multiple kids. He's a pretty cool guy and I don't really think worse of him for that preference he has to paint his nails. I don't understand what the appeal is, but he likes it and does it and it doesn't really change his appearance much anyway since it's not like he dresses like an emo kid or a tranny. He looks pretty normal aside from happening to have painted nails.

Absolutely not. I'm all about being useful and low maintenance and having to worry about chipping the paint off of my nails would make me feel like a frivolous, useless fag. Also, natural nails allow the early diagnosis of some serious illnesses and overall health status so no, what a dumb thing to waste my time on. Plus it looks idiotic.
Whenever I see painted nails on guys it's also always some overweight slob for whatever reason. I wonder why.

just a zillennial but not right now, just some strengthener for a glossy finish that has mostly worn off by now between yardwork and age, but picrel is the most i'll do. i'll probably just do the classic black again next and probably again especially towards Halloween.

because i like it; it's fun, opposes gender stereotypes and lowkey annoys all the right people. with the picrel magnetic gels they're actually quite captivating to look at how ever you move your fingers, ive gotten complimented on them, and i really love that type in particular.
only downsides are that buying a lot of colors/types can get sort of pricey, and with magnetic gels it takes me hours to get them all done because i gotta do them one at a time with the magnet and cure that finger under a UV light before moving to the next, and if you accidentally tap anything with them before it's properly dry you have to start over even with the base color coat.

If I had any semblance of an irl social group, I might paint mine black. But I don't have anyone I can truly b myself around, I wouldn't feel comfortable doing it in any setting. And it might bother me since I don't like anything as much as a dot on ink on my hand
