There's a tunnel, I didn't enjoy the tunnel, you see a light at the end, sounds will echo. At some point you lose all energy to fight and you let go and that is a good moment because all pain ceases and you reach the light and you come out the other side. I don't wanna revisit my visit to the other side I get emotional about the entity that greeted me and having to go back because I wasn't done here, worst moment of my life to not stay there.

I comitted suicide. As I was hanging, I was overwhelmed with the realization that I did not actually want to die. I was feeling the life slip out of me and my vision going black, but I remembered the knife in my back pocket and I was able to cut the rope before I passed out.

I haven't had a single thought of suicide in years.

Had a friend who faked own suicide, and this was my conclusion before he came out clean. Funniest thing is that he doubled down later, trying to fake death again. It's like if people who got resurrected after suicide were given a chance, they'd choose suicide over other people again. Again, not saying this to dismiss any positive interactions.
That's what suicidality and suicide are. Offsourcing your emotional and mental baggage to any surroundings instead of working through.

no matter how suicidal or depressed you are, there's always regret, that's why i think suicide is such a shame because most people innately want to live.

i also had this happen. one moment im drowning at the bottom of a pool, couldnt swim up because the surface was blocked by big inflatable floaters, things were going black and the panic was settling into cold acceptance, and then the next i was safe at the surface, didnt even feel the pain from all the water that shouldve been stuck in my nostrils and lungs. really freaky.
