I think its just a brain thing that can be caused by certain chemicals/nutrients while the mother is pregnant. Maybe there are other ways it happens but I think that is probably it. I think we have a rough idea what those chemicals might be. There is probably a way to influence them but its probably controversial science, gays would feel they are being eradicated and get angry.
