Deciding on long term plans and working towards them, both financial plans like career and buying a home, and social/family stuff like dating, moving in, marriage. Taking on more responsibility, like getting a pet, or having children.
23 is indeed young but that is not an excuse to dawdle. The vast majority of people don't become (more) adult by being passive and expecting things to happen to them.
Make a plan. Stick to it. Learn to enjoy the work towards it, not just the destination. Make more plans for when the first ones go wrong. It always happens and you need to learn to get back on your feet.
