That's crazy I was just daily zillowing thinking about making this thread, though expressed with more brevity. I planned to ask about finally having a life, and self-actualization.

it depends on your relationship with your parents, if you have a good relationship where they don't resent you and you all live comfortably together and you don't believe you'll ever get pussy then no there isn't a real reason to move out, unless you want to be able to walk around naked and do things that are a little unhinged, or if you believe that maybe you'll one day find a girl then it makes sense to have at least an apartment.

however, i think in a few years people won't look down on men who live with their parents so women will be more accepting of men who live with their parents and they'll want to get a place with you together. a lot of women live with their parents still too, so there's hope that it won't be looked down uppon as much in the future.

I was getting pussy either way but had to move out because my parents told me I wasn't allowed to live with them as an adult.

There is a measure of independence, but you also have financial matters to consider.
I'm currently a NEET with family but we barely talk and I have a car so independence isn't really an issue. I could pack up and move tomorrow if I wanted to, though I couldn't bring a girl home (not that I would in the first place).
If you're wanting to avoid family, I say yes. If you've never lived on your own before ever, I would say it may be worth doing on a short term (let's say six months if you can find a short lease like that) to get a sense of the responsibility if it's not a financial burden. You wouldn't want to figure everything out after they die and you're on a super fucked timeline after all. And if you've never been alone it would do your mind good to experience a true "loneliness".
