We do this because we got out of a relationship we felt safe in. For example, if you go on a date with a girls for the first time, most likely than not, she won't eat as much or as fast as she usually does because she wants to make best impressions and isn't comfortable yet. But then you go on more dates and she feels more comfortable, she'll eat like she normally does. Most girls I've seen get into relationships, even skinny girls, gain some weight because they are happy, and sometimes men love to feed women, for some reason.. even when you refuse.. Some girls even say you're a bad bf if your gf loses weight during the relationship, not including working out btw.
When a woman breaks up, she is overwhelmed with a load of emotions, along with this comes the stress, which in turn makes her lose weight. Or she could start going to the gym because she wants to better herself, forget about her ex, or get back at him and will lose weight.
