Are dog owners (especially urban ones) mentally ill? They buy what is essentially a domesticated wolf, trap it inside a confined space, and also pretend that it's their "fur baby" or family member. Yes. Dogs were farm animals, then modern people tried to make them out to be way more than what they are. For the most part they aren't actually suitable to be around humans.
