How come all week when I work I'm happy and fulfilled? My coworkers like me, they're the first people in my life to compliment me and remember things about me and seem to care about me. They think I'm funny and seem to enjoy/want to be around me. I love my job (military, computers) and it's like a dream. However, as soon as I'm off and back in my room its pure depression. I just sit and rot. I just wish I was back at work with my nice coworkers
>>81877932 (OP)Cuz doing shit is good and makes you happy, you are forced to do stuff at work, and you are too idle at home. Try planning ahead stuff to do on your time off so you dont just sit around and rot.
Perfect you are a good slave.
>>81877968That's how I feel and I don't know if I like it or not. Being a robot on paper sounds bad but it's the only time I'm happy and not alone and depressed
I got the same feeling. But the more I paid attention the more I realized: in basically every job you will be subtly encouraged into informing management (or anyone who's been with the company longer) about new people in the company. And the more you are willing to critique and disparage newer hires behind their back, the more loyal you are seen to be. It's disgusting. Not sure if this is true for the military but it has been the case for pretty much every civilian job.
>>81878511Sadly it is very gossipy at times. Sometimes it is jsut all in good fun but sometimes its very feminine and gay. I try to not engage in it but it kinda puts a damper on the work environment at times
You've got your professional life figured out and find fulfillment in that, now you just need to figure out your personal private life. Try to pick up some hobbies you are interested in.
