are glasses just a scam? I think that my normal vision without them got worse after i started wearing them.

Much like with drugs, if you try to use corrective lenses your body will adapt to them which effectively means your eyesight getting worse.
It's the same idea as how when you take a lot of stimulants you'll crash hard and be super-sleepy at some point, or how if you take a lot of depressants you'll get really anxious and have trouble falling asleep at some point.

You're used to being able to see now so your "normal vision" seems worse in comparison.

The thing about glasses is that they will prescribe worse and worse glasses with the passing of time. This field is fucked up. Sometimes you need glasses, doe. Or at least you believe you do.

I wore glasses in school until I was finished then never wore them again because I only needed them to read anyway. I got used to life without them and even went through college without them. However recently I've noticed my vision getting noticeably worse. I have to get closer and close to read things like road signs. A menu at a fast food place? Forget it unless it's right in front of me.

I likely should go and get my eyes checked after years of not but I don't have insurance.

You should limit the use of your glasses and definitely not wear them or wear weaker prescription glasses while reading or on a computer.

I can't believe I fell for the glasses jew and now my life is over. I should have just gone outside and enjoyed nature instead of sitting in front of the computer, and my eyesight would have been fine. I'll never forgive the jews for this.

When I was around 15 my left eye was blurry all the time and my parents would always tell me to get glasses.

9 years later and both my eyes are perfectly fine, get fucked glassfag
