The woman today are not the woman who fought for the right to enter the workforce. However, they've been born into an economy where households are expected to have two incomes, so they have no choice but to do so. Of course some women genuinely like working, but some of them are only doing it because it's their only option. Becoming a housewife is no longer a realistic future plan. Women have to get jobs, get married, and only then decide if she and her husband can afford for her to quit her job. It sucks, but just wanting to be a traditional housewife won't suddenly make it realistic.
