i dont have a car, and im my home state i couldnt get a license because i would get distracted on the road and speed, run over the curb, ect. like, actually i was a menace of stupidity. when i moved states, i tried to get a new ID but they gave me a license instead and said that people from out of state dont have to take the test. i will never drive but thats the only possible way i could have gotten a license honestly.

If you mean over as in forget about ever having a gf, yes, in most cases. Even if you live in a walkable Euro city, women are seemingly allergic to walking or taking the bus. Or even using taxis/Ubers. I don't have anything preventing me from driving, but I just don't like it and don't have any need for a car in my life. I take a private, completely free bus to work and I can walk or use public transport and taxis if the weather isn't good.
Not having a car also keeps me fit since I end up doing far more walking than the average person. But imagine how things would work if I somehow scored a date and I arrived at her place in a taxi. Even I realize it would be kinda awkward. Still, my desire to save and invest money and my fear/disdain for driving are far stronger than my want for some wet hole.
But yea, this is yet another retarded demand women have that I just can't be arsed to fulfill.

i had a car because my parents made me get a license and they gave me their car. i never liked driving and once i crashed it i never bought another one. there was no reason for me to have a car and imo i shouldnt be on the road. its weird how getting a license is something you're expected to do nowadays, regardless of whether you need it or not. my brother asks me why i dont buy another car like he feels sorry for me or something for not having it but i actively dont want one. its expensive as fuck and just a headache
