Not like, you cut off contact with them, but their personality had changed so much you no longer wished to remain friends.

I lost a "friend" due to transitioning but only because he became my wife and is technically no longer just a friend. It's weird because I remember when she was a guy and I couldn't tell she was even attracted to men at all and we used to hang out and play vidya in the 2000s, and every now and again I look at her and catch a glimpse of what she used to be in the little tiny mannerisms and things she does here and there, but otherwise, very happy :)

No but somebody who used to be cool became insufferable and then years after I stopped talking to him he became a tranny.

Yeah.
A friend of mine was a military nerd. Played cool games, like ARMA.
He played exactly one (1) furry game this last Winter, and she is now literally a different person. Full-on polyamorous furry slut complete with coming out to her dad, friends, and coworkers as pre-op trans.
This has taken place over the course of about 9 months with zero prior warning. The entire experience has given me such nerves that this could happen to anyone.
