I find that the less conventionally attractive a woman is, the more human and real they seem. As in they don't put on an act, they are usually more genuinely nicer. They feel more human, more relatable, more like an individual.

I can't really comment on a women acting less fake, if they are less conventionally attractive. But her appearance alone gives me that impression. Make-up and exaggerated clothing make her seem less human and therefore unattractive to me.
