do people who are not self aware ever realize they are not self aware? A moment of clarity, or comments from other people? Are they incapable of self awareness, or can they be "awoken?"

I honestly wonder this myself.
I have a lot of moments of self-awareness which seems to be uncommon, but I wonder what it's like for people who usually don't experience moments of clarity often.

No, because if they were self aware then they wouldn't be not self aware.

You can tell this was made recently.

It's a shame zoomers discovered old cameras so they can muddy up 2000s content.

some know, some know and care, but most people are clueless and couldn't give a shit about it.
usually people instantly justify all of their impulses without a second thought. theres not enough nuance to care.

What's up with zoomers being obsessed with late 90s to early 00s?
I don't remember anyone during that time giving a single shit about previous eras so this seems so foreign to me, was the zoomer era so soulless that they had to cling to our childhood as a cope?

You must have experienced an alternate reality. 70/80s nostalgia informed everything alternative at the time. In the 70s/80s it was 50/60s nostalgia. We've always done this.

I still think it's weird to put on a millennial costume. I don't think young people before were pretending to be the previous generation outside movies or parties.

Where did you grow up where this was a thing?
I'm from New York, and the only nostalgia we had from those eras ended at reruns, we all had our own fashion, music, etc.
We weren't mimicking previous generations in the way zoomers were, at least not to my knowledge.

I deleted my post because I realized the OP pic was AI. But zoomers are still doing this though. And getting the details wrong anyway.

types of people according to gnostic thought - NPC theory
>>81889606 (OP)

The Gnostics called them hylics. Today we call them NPCs. They likely don't have souls and are just automated meatbags, so to speak. Think of a movie playing with no audience to watch it. I don't think true human beings with souls have free will either but we are at at least aware of or conscious of something, that is to say, we are the audience of the pre-determined movie.

I've never seen daft punk referred to as disco, that's crazy, it's electronic music.

Daft Punk are Gen X meaning they lived through the height of disco, how does their music being good and gaining popularity when it's released showcase a new generation mimicking a previous one?
I'm not sure you even understand the point you're making or what you're arguing against.
We're talking about people of our age copying and mimicking previous generations in the way zoomers are doing to millennials.

no matter how gay gnosticism is, I completely agree with their take on the two tiers of humanity and the goy cattle subhumans aka hylics

Thats why I said informed by. Disco is also considered "electronic music", with the synthesizers and eventual drum machines morphing it into synthpop. French house, and house in general, commonly samples 70s/80s records and takes cues from from them for things like vocals, like what romanthony did here.

Zoomies aren't one-to-one mimicking the lifestyles of 2000. They're taking bits and pieces they like and incorporating them into their own creations, just as Daft Punk and others were doing back then.
