This kind of thinking is institutionalised in the west, by the way. In Health and Civics classes in Australia, boys are regularly taught that they have responsibilities and obligations towards girls, but girls have no responsibilities or obligations towards boys.

Because that's how most relationships work.
Things like marriage and friendships in life are "pet-like" in that people like other people just for what they are. Any "job description" activities or responsibilities aren't really seen as part of the relationship but part of how the relationship functions in society.

There may be a slight gender skew in how much responsibility plays a part in that, and thats where empathising-systemising theory comes. Male brains are more skewed to logic and problem solving while female brains are more skewed to complex social theory and the warm fuzzy feelings that come with it. However, both genders see relationships primarily as a social connection first with transactional elements as an afterthought.

Then we get to the "extreme male brains". i.e. Autism. Autism is seen as a disease where the brain is almost entirely systemizing. They don't get the warm fuzzy feelings with relationships, so they can only see their relationships as transactional. An Austist can still have friends. Even if they don't feel that connection with a lot of people, they can still have intellectually stimulating conversations. That's the transaction. Although, these friendships are surface level and don't last long. But its very rare for an Autist to have a romantic relationship, which puts and empathetic connection at the forefront.

To an Autist, yes, a romantic relationship would look like a pet dynamic.

I thought relationship was enjoying each others company, talking about topics together, sexy sex. Then I found out theres particular requirements as a Man you have to do. You have to make grand gestures, you have to take her out on activities, you have to buy her gifts, usually pay for everything. So yes, pretty much like a Dad

It is. It's all about those very abstract things that autists don't process well.
When they fail to connect, they try to understand relationships as systems. This is where all the "pills" come in. The redpill, the blackpill, the whateverpill.
These are neat, packaged, very predictable systemized theories of how the world functions using a lot of autist friendly ideas, tying back to evolutionary psychology and very numeric language

See, that kind of language is extremely stimulating for an autist and helps them understand something that they would never be able to understand: i.e. complex social interactions.
It doesn't really matter if these packaged theories a based on scientific rigor or reflect the truth. They just need to hit that "oh, that makes logical sense" button in the autists brain.
That's why you see so many different, contradicting theories posted in pill communities. It's not like they are trying to hash out one theory to explain the truth like a science community.
They just need to keep posting things that are logical and comforting.
