How do you deal with normies at work?

I work in education, and I can deal with the kids just fine. But the "adults" I work with are just obnoxious to the point of being impossible to work with.

They never stop talking about the most inane shit possible in the staff office. Details of their weekend always involve the same few activities
>alcohol
>bar
>watching sports
>possibly golf
combined with repeating whatever they saw on the front page of reddit or gossip about coworkers. I can't take this anymore. So I started taking my work to an empty classroom and doing it there.

This has led to two problems
1. Now I'm being called "antisocial" and multiple coworkers are complaining and gossiping about me
2. I actually get all my work done. Everyone else is constantly behind, so me being finished has led to even more bad feelings with staff.

My patience for my coworkers is at an all time low, my job involves working with 10-13 year olds, not placating 40 something's social needs. I can't imagine the frustration of spending 8hrs a day dealing with adult normies.

At a different job, we had to wear long sleeved business shirts, and occasionally ties. I had complaints because I wore identical shirts every day and people thought I was wearing the same shirt daily. I had to take a picture of my shirts in my closet, print it out, and have it in my classroom to stop this rumor.

At this job, it's "casual". I wear black golf pants, business trousers but flexible, and golf polo shirts. This is also causing bad feelings from co-workers who feel I am dressing too professionally and "ruining their vibe". it's a fucking polo shirt, not my fault you turned up in a faded band t-shirt and jeans and the students think you're gross instead of "real and down to earth". I'm wearing fucking reeboks, this is casual, I'm not going to dress like a slob for you to feel better about your fucking metallica and silverchair tshirt colection you fucking GenX fuck

Just nods, listen, smiles, and give basic responses, and agree with everything they said. You don't have to try so hard to please them anon.

Just see them as pawns, and find ways to manipulate them or something.

THE CONSTANT QUESTIONING

I have a bright green hatchback, 12 years old. no problems, good car, even put a new head unit in it.

Why do you have such an old car?
are you having money problems?
aren't you embarrassed driving that thing?
You should lease a car using salary sacrifice, why not?
why did you park at the back of the parking lot, you were the first one here?
isn't it time to update that car?
did you know there was a dent in the back? I wouldn't have bought it with that dent in it!

everything is just an avalanche of pointless questions, the worst is the Monday "how was your weekend" gauntlet. none of them care, they get offended when I don't ask them, but they also get annoyed at my answers because I do different things to them.

All that colleague shit is yet another reason why I'm so glad I've NEETed for almost 20 years now.
Autists are not welcome in the world of work, so they can go fuck themselves.
