I've been a NEET for 8 years, and I never started getting bored or started hating my life like people said I would. Guess some people are just hardwired to be slaves, and feel uncomfortable when they don't have slave work to do.

Indeed. Though my first decade of NEETdom was tougher, partly due to the endless 'bux office harassment, once I experienced the year long hell of wage-cucking myself, I was glad to return to NEETdom. Now been nine years since, aside from a disastrous one week at another job. Even managed to get myself put on the shelf, and left alone finally. It's just fucking ridiculous that I was diagnosed as mentally ill in my teens, but still had to deal with the 'bux office horseshit for over 15 years. I am autist too (30th percentile), but still waiting forever for a formal test and diagnosis, which I know no-one wants to do, as it's not politically correct to expose just how many autists there are, and that we are justifiably unemployable and NEET in this dogshit gutted service economy, which is a living hell for us. Now, I am very content to NEET until the sweet release of death by or before my 50s. Though it would be great if I could get UBI, and to have frequent sex with a fuckable MILF/GILF.

whether you thrive or stagnate during NEET time is entirely a matter of temperament. some people are very disciplined and have creative hobbies or other pursuits to keep them engaged and satisfied, while others just succumb to boredom and apathy and dig themselves into a depressive hole. actually the whole discussion about the nature of being a NEET is entirely redundant because both sides of the argument are arguing from an entirely personal standpoint and wont budge either way

you mistake being a NEET with being a hikki. being a NEET does in no way imply being unsuccessful, not having close relationships, or not finding love, or never leaving your house. in the past, pretty much all aristocrats or nobles were essentially NEETs in the literal sense and enjoyed both success and what "real life" has to offer in abundance. to equate work, training, and education with accomplishment and success is a modern disease being forcefully indoctrinated into the minds of the slave caste to keep the productivity train going, it has no bearing in reality
