I use my EBT card to buy kombucha. For some reason it varies by store (self checkout) if it will be accepted as a qualified "food" item.

I tried 3 cans of different flavors but it's not something I'd drink even monthly. juices are better. maybe it's better with specific snacks

Yeah but not that often because it's expensive. I don't like most brands but GT is the best I've had. I like the gingerberry one, it's goated. The rest I could do without.

I get annoyed when people act like it's some exotic pretentious crap. It's fermented tea. It's no more exotic than drinking alcohol or using vinegar. I like flavored Keffir too, that stuff is a bit cheaper. It's basically drinkable greek yogurt.
