You're completely off base here, OP. ~60% of men aged 18-29 are single while only ~30% of women aged 18-29 are single, and yet among all age groups, the number of single men and women is the same. Why? Women dating older men. Your thirties is when you are most likely to attract these young women. We see these statistics reversed when looking at ages 40s to 60s, with most women in the age group being single and most men being in a relationship. Women have always been attracted to older men but it's a relatively recent trend to see such a large skew among the 18-29 age group, this is because of the internet and dating apps. The effect is the same as we see with remote jobs: employers (women) have infinitely more options for employees (men) and so the employees (men) have infinitely more competition, and suddenly very shitty jobs (women, single mothers) are sought after much more than they should be otherwise.
