Electricity is our worlds magic system
>can talk to people across world using it
>have flying machines
>have house amenities like light , dishwasher and microwaves
>can simulate whole worlds on a device using it
>thinking machines can be created using it
How do you not find electricity the most interesting object in world? And we get it by burning compressed bio waste from millions of years ago or rocks that can be used to destroy whole countries.

The most boring part about this world imo is that humans are the only intelligent species. It means everything revolves soley around us and our dumbass perspectives on society.

This is why I like black ppl its like we live along orcs and Indians are goblins X Chinese/asians are elves who look young for years. I think Somalis are most unique interesting theyre like goblins but with orc traits and are good long distance runners.

>no electricity grids
>no indoor plumbing
>no radio/telecom
>no computer anything

>ride horses
>stink of BO for weeks
>read unreliable newspapers printed a week ago
>sing your own songs for fun

If you went back in time and described our world to anyone before 1900 they wouldn't believe you. Even my own grandfather (b 1909) didn't have electricity in-home until he was almost 30, but he was a poor outdoorsman, although he lived long enough to send an e-mail.

We live in an unprecedented time that's utterly unlike anything in our human history. It took global technological innovations since the start of the industrial revolution to get here, and a huge network of very educated people to set the internet in motion. If we ever lose what we have now it would take 400+ years to get back to this point.

Oh yeah. It's why jeets are getting so many jobs. They post everything to jeet Youtube and they all catch on pretty quickly. (it's that or follow around a cow for the rest of their life).

Meanwhile our public schools don't even teach computer literacy. We have 10th graders right now that can't navigate Windows at a basic competency level, let alone Excel or Word. I forget who said it, Carl Sagan maybe, we have a society completely reliant on technology that only a tiny percent of the population actually understand. If we lose those people, we're fucked.

I find it fascinating. I learned a lot of it on my own. Now I fix electronics at home. Can never share it with anyone because I guess anything electricity related is too hard and autistic to people.

The popularity of anime cat/horse/dragon girls etc and furries even demons and other intelligent fictional species in cartoons and movies suggests you're not alone in feeling that way. I think that's also why people obsess over the idea of aliens and AI we're all getting bored and sick of everything just being about humans and our repetitive bullshit. Despite all the hype human behavior and society is the same shit over and over again that's why the religions and pantheons of gods ancient myths and legends and stories are all so similar all over the world. We are not as original with ideas as we like to think we come up with the same shit all the time.
