And I understand why people here in the states want a homogeneous and disciplined society so much. All the "memes" and tropes of Japan being clean, organized, safe, etc is not a myth whatsoever. Society truly does function more properly when people adhere to a set of standards, and most immigrants obviously could care less about that.
My first interaction I had with a brownoid was just a couple minutes after I stepped out of the airport. This guy was yelling and honking at me as I was unloading my luggage into the vehicle and funnily enough, he was causing traffic as he was cutting in line and taking up to 2 lanes since he was trying to merge.
This juxtaposition between experiencing such a structured society and seeing how disordered my hometown had gotten honestly might radicalized me to begin to vote for more anti-immigrant policies and candidates.
