I understand these posts are bait but for other readers, tornadoes can lift entire trucks and cars (which weigh 1000-2000 kg) so a house made of any material will be obliterated (or at least notably damaged) anyway. As such, heavier materials would simply unnecessarily add material and labor cost into the construction of homes, as well as create more lethal projectiles when they inevitably get thrown.

They actually started to include drywall in new buildings, usually as a replacement for bricks
