If you think this initial feeling at the start is love then you're in for a big surprise as it's proven that it's just brain chemistry that fades away after like 2-3 years. Instead of some mythical idea of love you are supposed to want stability and reliability. You're supposed steer your relationship in a way that within those 2-3 years would build up enough sentimental and comfy feeling to replace initial infatuation and lust when it disappears so you'd have stability. Reliability is simply to minimize trouble that might damage relationship in the future, shit like people changing or running away when problems appear. Life isn't some stupid fairy tale.
