Yea. I played it with all my friends in middle school recently replayed it really doesn't feel like a kids game though that game has so many easter eggs

No, I don't really care for indie games in general. Most of them are artsy slop catering to old millenials who grew up playing on pre PS1 consoles. The gameplay aspect is almost always lacking to someone like me, who wants fast-paced action and not much of a story. Racing games and boomer shooters are my fav genres, along with GTAs. I've tried playing RPG, RTS and other slow-paced stuff. I always just get bored and can't make myself to care about the story. I also prefer realistic graphics to artsy stuff, tho I'm ok with both if the gameplay is great.

Gameplay is good, fun characters, great soundtrack, interesting story, but god Toby's humor is way too 2010s tumblr sometimes.

In spite of myself I really liked it. I enjoyed a lot of the meta aspects of the game, and beating it normally, then doing Pacifist, then genocide felt SOOOOOOOO fucking good because of how well I knew everyone I murdered. Catharsis and schaudenfreud par excellence. also Toriel is adorable and man I wish I had a housewife like her
