I feel slightly conflicted about giving advice to lonely/depressed people here because I assume most of them are probably far-right and would probably want to murder me if they knew who/what I was (Jewish and leftist). I still usually give advice anyway but it is a strange feeling.

Most probably would not outright tell me they hate me if I were to reveal that fact after talking to them in their thread for a while but it's still weird.

To me this is all just a game, I don't believe you are Jewish or leftist, nor far-right or even depressed. To me you are just words on screen and I either engage with those thoughts or I don't because this thread will 404 and be long gone, it is a waste of my time to think of you as anything other than a glob of text.

By leftist I mean liberal (modern American definition). Or if I were to be more aggressive I'd say on the social axis center-left-to-left liberals are the true leftists and "leftists" are rightists with some bits flipped. The core tenet of progressivism is to oppose bigotry, so any bigot is automatically not a progressive. I pretty much despise at least half of people who self-label as leftists even though I am otherwise basically a SJW. I just really hate double standards.

Yeah the anti-Indian racism on this site and Twitter is completely insane. It's increased by orders of magnitude in just a few years. I have been accused of being Indian here dozens of times just for not racist towards them. Little do they know the real truth is worse than they think...

I don't claim to be some righteous moral paragon. It just seems "racism is bad in general" is actually a contrarian position in many internet spheres now.

All I guess I can say is you should go to great lengths to ensure your anger is always aimed at the right, specific target. If or when it may not be, it could be because others are intentionally directing your anger the wrong way. Different people (wealthy or otherwise) have different goals and incentives and alignments.

One thing I can say is that many of Trump's tariffs - if they don't get seriously reduced soon - will likely raise prices for consumers.
