Incels, I want to know more about you. I am not bashing your way of life or disagreeing with it. I've seen a bunch of Tiktok watered-down descriptions of incels and they really just don't satisfy me. Tell me about yourself.

First off, what made you an incel? Was it a certain experience, or do you feel as if you were born into it? What, if anything, could make you stop being an incel (or is it a way of permanent living)? Do you believe that femcels are real and valid? How easy is it to find incel communities outside of online forums? What age did you learn about incels? What age did you become an incel?
Anything else that may prove helpful to learning more about incels?

It's very hard to pin down one single thing. It's a culmination of many things that happened throughout my life that led me to being unsuccessful in courting women. I think I had many experiences that made me feel apprehensive and discouraged, which prevented me from trying as hard as I should have. The "just put yourself out there and try talking to women" didn't work in the slightest in my case.

If I find a woman who find me attractive. We end up dating or just having sex. Even if it's just a one-time thing, I would be an incel no more.

I've put a lot of thought into it, and the short answer is: "yes". But it might not be for the reasons that you think.

Practically impossible. There's a massive stigma not just around being an incel, but around being a male virgin or just a romantically unsuccessful man. So people finding out about it irl, or somehow tying it to your real world person could be disastrous for your social standing and your chances of ever getting a gf. I still would like there to be something like regular irl incel meetups, like alcoholics anonymous, but it would be very challenging to organize, and I'd probably be too scared to go, because my association with it could possibly leak to the outside.

I'm 25. I learned about in like mid 2010s, probably as a result of the isla vista shooting and the infamy of the reddit incel community. Back then I was young and unquestioningly believed the mainstream narratives about them, which was all the more easier by how toxic they were. At that age I didn't know I would end up as one of them. I still had hope I would get a gf.

not a bot or a fed and I don't really know how to prove that but I really do just want to learn more about people I know little about. I am lonely, not to an incel degree, but it makes me sad knowing that there are other people out there feeling even more unfulfilled than me, and i want to know more about how those people live their lives. I dont think you guys are dangerous or awful, i think you're just lonely and have had a couple of bad experiences. It'll work out for you guys, i promise. :-)

Kind of just realized it after having two therapists bring it up but I'm pretty sure I'm legitimately autistic. Which made socializing extremely difficult growing up. Never had many friends and went years without any. So you could say I was born into it. Also grew up around a lot of domestic violence. Dad went to prison. My mom never showed me any kind of affection growing up (never told me she loved me or hugged me). I was also bullied a lot. Like insulted, pushed around, spit on, told to kill myself, etc. I'm also pretty ugly. Started balding at like 19. Oh and when I tried to get help for anxiety as a teenager they put me on medication that made me gain weight and gave me gyno. So even after I lost the weight I have bad loose skin, stretch marks, and tits. Pretty much have no attractive qualities whatsoever at this point.

A gf and sex, obviously. But that's probably not going to happen as I have nothing to offer a woman at this point. I wouldn't say that it's necessarily permanent either. I managed to get into a LDR once before and I technically stopped being an incel then. But then went right back to it after she broke up with me.

I think that it's possible but probably not as common. I feel like women's looks and negative traits don't hinder them nearly as much as men. At least when it comes to getting sex or finding a relationship. Like how the majority of autistic women are in relationships but the majority of autistic men aren't.
