I cant function at the level that the current system demands.
People say this is my fault, like it's my fitness and competence that's at fault. But the system is ramping up the difficulty setting, so it should take responsibility for making it harder to meet its demands.
Don't get me wrong, I'm excellent in academia. I got 3 degrees and probably the easiest thing in the world for me is learning math, physics, and coding. Most people would struggle with that. 3 degree guys were pretty fucking rare back in the day, and in the 50's I would've been such a Chad.
But in today's economy I live under a bridge.
So what demands have changed against my favor then? Everything except for IQ and skill related things.
I used to have a quiet apartment. Now I have loud immigrants next door. Summers used to be mild. Now I suffer record heatwaves every year and cant afford an AC because they shat the economy. Women used to be straight and pro-marriage. Now they're attack helicopters who think marriage is oppression.
Society doesn't demand smarter math guys, it demands people who are as anti-autistic as possible. Have you ever met a black dude with misophonia? No you haven't. Our system desires and mass-produces people who can adapt to noisy, smelly, loud, and chaotic environments because that's what we have right now. This realization is massive.
