2000 job apps so far. Got my first interview, but I'm nervous because they want references and five years experience for this unpaid internship. I have the PhD they requested and I'm able to pay the $500 per week employment fee to the company, but there are tons of candidates willing to pay more per week for this job.

The market is rough. Gotta be willing to hustle and grind to get your foot in the door. Some of the jobs expect you to pay up to $1500 per week so this is a great find.

I quit my 40/hr job because my boss became obsessed with me and wanting me there 7 days a week.

Ive been unemployed for 3 weeks so far. One 4 person zoom interview but nothing back so far. Not even rejection letter

I don't think I could afford to pay an employment fee as high as 40 per hour but good for you.
