You ever had depression and felt more alone when you're surrounded by people? Modern dating is kinda like that for men. Like yeah I 100% could fix my situation and get a woman. But would she actually make me feel any better? No. Because once you go past a certain point you realize dating is going to be you with no experiences, and women with experience. Nothing will be special to her, while she would be the only one in my life. Your only options are accept that, or date more people, meaning you still don't have anyone who views you as special, but now you don't view anyone else as special.

Dismal. All paths here lead to depression and are the furtherst thing from romance, so it's better to use my time on other things. E.g. I consider my job maningful, so I try to focus on that. I also want t look into volunteer work for similar reasons. People seriously need to shut the fuck up with this settling bullshit, it works for you becuase you're likely a person with teen love, young love, a bunch of relationships and NOW you're looking to settle, and the things you want in life require that e.g. family. It doesn't apply to the rest of us and will only make things worse.
