what's the point of travelling? I have lots of cash saved now (earning very well, but still living with my parents) but I still see no point in travelling

I know, but I don't like travelling, planes are annoying flying tubes and security clearance takes too long, and there's no country I feel like going to.

Sometimes, it's nice to go to a different place to eat and see things that you wouldn't get in your own country. I feel it's also a chance to spoil yourself, by staying in nice hotels with comfy beds. People just don't spend much effort in improving their lives at home though. You could also get a comfy bed instead of travelling to another country.

I'm 30 and have had a single bed my entire life, whenever I go to a hotel it feels weird to sleep on a double bed.

>Sometimes, it's nice to go to a different place to eat and see things that you wouldn't get in your own country.
to me all food is more or less the same. some mixture of meat, veggies and/ or carbs maybe with some sauce, dairy or whatever.
>I feel it's also a chance to spoil yourself, by staying in nice hotels with comfy beds.
I could also do that in the next town instead of some other country. actually I stayed in a hotel a few weeks ago (due to some sports event in a far away town) and I don't remember anything good about it in particular.
>People just don't spend much effort in improving their lives at home though. You could also get a comfy bed instead of travelling to another country.
except for extreme cases (both positive and negative), mosts beds are the same too, no?

It's not just the size, but also the construction of the bed, the pillow, the sheets etc. They can make quite a difference. I have a double bed in my flat too but I just sleep on one side of it lol.

Attractive people have inherent advantages in every single aspect of life.
Why are you seething over self evident facts of life?

The flavours and textures can be very different, especially with the spices used.
>I could also do that in the next town instead of some other country.
People don't go to another country just for the nice hotels, I don't think. It's a mixture of reasons. Sometimes people travel just to get some sun.
>except for extreme cases (both positive and negative), mosts beds are the same too, no?
If you don't spend money and get something actually good, of course they won't feel any different.

sorry, but it is still more or less the same to me

does the weather reason not seem silly to you? I guess other reasons could be muh culture, but tourists only get a superficial insight anyways.
>If you don't spend money and get something actually good, of course they won't feel any different.
recently my parents bought a new bed and I accompanied them and they all seemed the same to me, except for some fancy ones that had some massage tech.

What cuisines have you tried before?
>does the weather reason not seem silly to you?
Depends on where you are from. We don't get much sun here so I can understand people want to experience warmth for a change.
>but tourists only get a superficial insight anyways.
I agree. I spend a lot of time doing research so that I can find more than just your typical tourist traps. I was also lucky that my parents have an international connection so I could actually interact with locals.
>recently my parents bought a new bed and I accompanied them and they all seemed the same to me
What was the price range for them? Also, I think foam and spring mattresses feel quite different.

I guess it is just me then

I think like 1 to 2k euros

Not sure how they aren't different but okay.

Do you mean just the mattress or including the actual bed itself? I tried mattresses that were like 1-2k on their own and it was a noticeable improvement.

>Do you mean just the mattress or including the actual bed itself?
I think all inclusive, but I did lie on other beds as well as I wandered through the shop.
anyways, my sleep is fine, I start sleeping quickly and almost never wake up during the night, despite not having a hotel tier bed.

It's not a necessity but it just feels better. Like you don't need good food either, but sometimes they are just nice to have.
