I have this weird "quirk", or whatever the fuck, where I'm thinking about the world and all the people, places, events in it. And then I "zoom out" (like those scenes where the camera backs up and then shows Earth floating in the darkness of space). And then I start laughing at the ridiculousness of this world.

Like, there is a couple having passionate and extremely pleasurable sex right now somewhere in the world. And then there's a virgin depressed in his room, chugging down unhealthy cope food because he cant get a woman to even talk to him

There's a millionaire in NYC at a private party, sipping expensive ass alcohol. And then there's a man trapped in the slums of Mumbai. No access to decent education, healthcare, impoverished. Cant afford ANYTHING. His wife is ugly as shit. He himself looks like a meth addict due to shit diet.

And then I think, we are on a fucking rocky round object spinning on its axis and orbiting the Sun at the SAME DAMN TIME.

All this shit is happening at the SAME TIME. That is SPECIFICALLY why its fucking hilarious and upsetting simultaneously

Do I have a mental problem or something? Be honest. Is there a technical or standard term fir this "way of thinking"?

Sounds like you're just aware of the cosmic scope of things, which most people tend to ignore.

no, you've just taken the first few steps towards realizing the fundamental contradictions of capitalism, a system that is inherently evil and based on inequality, wherein 99% must suffer so the 1% can rejoice. But you're trapped in this rotten, evil system, with seemingly no way out. That causes cognitive dissonance. "Why is this happening? Maybe it can't be that bad?" But it is, and it's real. Such is the price of being sane in an insane system that must be destroyed and a new one built from the ground up.

you've only scratched the surface of this absurdity

yes, the word is called "sonder" which is the sudden awareness that every passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own.

To get more specific, I guess its like the contrast of the human experience. Some people are living fulfilling and pleasurable lives, others are living unthinkable nightmares. Obviously, there's a bunch of people in the middle, who's lives aren't great but also aren't horrible. But I think about this contrast. And THEN I think how we are trapped on this planet due to gravity. AND we are bound by laws of physics and biology. Its like we are forced to suffer. We are born in bodies with unquenchable basic needs that have to be fulfilled. Technically, you can oppose your basic needs but it will lead to great suffering and death, which 99.9% of people dont want. So TECHNICALLY there is a choice but we are afraid so we put up with this structure (not like we have a choice)

And then there's the Earth aspect; All the wars, petty arguments, animals ripping each other (THEY HAVE NO CHOICE. Either they kill other animals and EAT TO LIVE, or they themselves perish), we all want sex, happiness, and pleasure but we have to PAY for it (if we say fuck the game and refuse to play, we suffer due to frustration caused by unmet needs. Suffering is inevitable). ALL THIS SHIT is happening on this damn planet that is spinning and fucking moving. For some reason, it makes me laugh. Its fucking funny and ridiculous how, I guess, the "structure" of reality is

I still haven't found the right wording to properly articulate this feeling. I need help

Nah, thats not exactly it. Close though.

Imagine having a big container of various bugs. And these bugs cant escape the container no matter what.

And then the fighting happens. They attack each other, rip each other apart. Some of the bugs who dont participate get fucked up anyway simply because they were in the way or the attacking bugs simply didnt a fuck and attacked anything that moved. The FUNNY part is that THERE IS NO ESCAPE.

I never chose to have a sex drive. I never chose to have to eat food. I never chose that I had to live in a destructible body that can be destroyed at any time by some evil asshole or by natural processes (infectious diseases, genetic disorders, incidental conditions, etc)

We are all trapped in this shit. There's no escape. I think I almost precisely cracked why its funny but I feel like there's more

As I type this, there's a man in the slums of Mumbai scratching his cracked foot because he got athlete's foot from walking on the ground filled with trash and shit. He cant afford treatment because he makes the equivalent of 2 USD a day working at some textile plant owned by a bunch of white guys 1000 miles away. He has gastrointestinal issues due to his poor man's diet and his stinky and run-down town is infested with monkeys. And they leave shit droppings everywhere and steal fruits veggies from the nearby street vendors selling some slop that looks like fucking cake mix except it is the antithesis of anything cake-related

And then there's a middle age millionaire in Florida who just had sex with his early 20s model girlfriend. She deepthroated his dick and he ejaculated in her throat, and then he hangs with the buddies at the beach. He flaunts his 2024 Corvette and buys an ice cream cone, sitting on the beach with his GF eating ice cream. He then gets ready to work at his air-conditioned and sanitized workspace where he takes calls, writes shit, and talks about tennis all day with his coworkers. His female coworkers suck his dick during their break (they have break at the same time)

This world sucks, man

And then there's

To continue,

And then there's the fact that this shit is all happening at the same fucking time, on this damn planet that is spinning and moving. Lmao

Why are things like this? Do they HAVE to be this way? No one can answer that question

Imagine being the son of some wealthy man. You see adverts everywhere talking about "save money this, save money that"

"Car insurance"

"Affordable school"

"Its my money and I want it now!"

You realize that you beat the system. And you didnt even do anything. You were simply born into a wealthy family. You watch all the other peasants stress about college tuition and see some work 2-3 jobs simultaneously, as you get your dick sucked by your cute GF in your room with walls that go up 20 feet, in your mansion in southern California. You dont have to work. While you gaming or having sex, someone is wageslaving 10 hours 6 days a week. And then comes home to his studio apartment in the boonies of North Carolina

Its funny and upsetting
