I'd like some input from people that have experience with quitting low dosage benzos after a med-long time. I've been using Pyrazolam in various dosages for around a year. At first most days were like 0.25mg to 0.5mg. The last month or two I went up to about 1.5mg a day. The pellets are 3mg each, but AFAIK that's a fairly high standard dosage of Pyrazolam, but I have no idea what the equivalent is to a benzo that gets prescribed.

I just stopped taking it like two or three days ago since I expected no withdrawals, but I'm actually getting a little sick now and and experience difficulty sleeping. Should I go back to 0.5mg for another week or two before quitting or will this be over before I know it?

Been taking brotizolam (benzo analogue) for sleep. 0.25mg a night but sometime take 0.5 and 0.75. Took it for months and now ran out. Been having a hard time sleeping, too. I'd say if you want to quit, just take the sleeplessness for a while and let your body balance itself out (since you don't seem to have extreame wds. Otherwise it would have been a good idea to taper down). I know that if I had the choice, I'd keep taking it but need to wait for my script.

Got my hands on some seemingly legit 4-MMC last weekend after not seeing 3-MMC in NA for a year (abused the shit out of it during 2020-2022, literally stimfapped so much that I may have permanently damaged my finger joints). Was NOT expecting my right eye to twitch that much (never done MDMA) and kind of thought I fucked up bad from that but I can see why it has the reputation it does.
The temptation to stuff my nose down a bag of this every few weekends is still there but I just can't see myself falling down that hole anymore; I have a decent job and in my late 20's so my body can't take the level of abuse it used to anymore so there's just too much to lose now.

During my peak weed-smoking days, I was burning through an ounce a week.

Morning, noon, day, evening, night, late night. I was just puffing on joint after joint after joint after joint.

Not gonna lie, it was really fun and pretty comfy.

Kept going for a few months until I realized how much money I was burning up, and really if you take two tokes of a joint or do a couple of bong hits you're good, smoking two big fat blunts doesn't really get you that much higher.

tapering is a really good idea. Near the end of the taper, start taking the drug every 36 hours, then finally once every other day, then it should be easier to stop.

In my experience with medium term usage, sleeping is the hardest part. Try and take 3 or 4 days off work for the first few days you are finally off the drug completely. You will probably get shitty sleep and be very irritable, but it won't hurt beyond that. Honestly just find a bunch of movies, ideally something comforting to you, and just let yourself stay up late if you can't sleep. there is no use fighting it, and it'll be less stressful if you just embrace and accept you're going to be getting 4 hours of shitty dream filled sleep a night.

You can use Benadryl to help sleep, and if you have a good doctor, they can give you hydroxyzine (1st generation antihistamine, it's easy to get because it's not schedule 2 like benzos) to help you sleep and help with any rebound anxiety.

If you aren't an addictive person, a couple beers wouldn't hurt take the edge off, but that's a controversial take. Don't end up getting addicting to alcohol instead.

TLDR: I'd say use Benadryl to help you sleep the first few nights you finally quit for good after tapering, and try some sleepytime tea as well. Magnesium supplements will also help relax you

I recently went to rehab for 7OH (I'm a pussy) and felt the same thing occurring. I'd say quit the opioids/drugs until you can feel enjoyment of things naturally again.

Otherwise you could trick your reward center since it's rewired for opioids. Make rules for yourself that you're only allowed to dose X amount after doing something you wish you would do. When I made those rules for myself suddenly I wanted to be productive and do things I ought to enjoy just so I could take more.

What's a good amount of speed to take just for it to feel like a strong caffeine?

just crush up 100-200mg worth of acid, put in a spoon with 1ml of water or so and add H. cook gently until it just starts bubbling and stir a bit. cook gently again. all the dope should dissolve, there might be some insoluble particulate but thats fine
pull up in syringe, filtering doesnt matter for boofing, no needle obviously, stick it in your pooper just a few cm deep and enjoy

After awhile I realized I just needed to be locked up for a few weeks so I went to rehab. The first 3 days were hell and I couldn't enjoy anything at all and I was just trying to survive hour by hour, but things did turn around after the 4th or 5th day.

Sorry I'm just a kratom addict so I can't imagine how bad actual opiate withdrawal is, but it feels withdrawal always lasts longer than you can handle but is surprisingly shorter than you expected. If I wasn't locked up I would've definitely caved, but I was so happy to see myself finally enjoying things without being on something once I got through it. At the very least I think the strategy of "I can't take my dose until after I do all these things" would be better for tapering.
