I'm 23 and my gf is 28. She's sort of a sub but not exactly. She's a bit weird.

I currently financially support her and overall take care of her although this wasn't always the case. When I was still in college she worked and would buy me stuff. I have a high paying job now so she decided to stop working since we both like the idea of a relationship in which I'm the provider. So I guess in that sense she's a sub.

Here's the part where it gets more complicated. Since we started dating she sort of molded me into being a dom in a motherly sort of way which was what I wanted. We have a dom/sub dynamic going on but at the same time there's definitely an underlying mommy dynamic going on so it somewhat feels like she's my "mommy" who's allowing and guiding this for me.

I'm also kind of emotionally dependent on her and she sees taking care of me emotionally and even protecting me as her role in the relationship so she's certainly not a sub in this regard.

It's a weird dynamic.
