For one, my only source social interactions and 5+ year relationships would disappear and I would have to start from scratch. I rarely newer games outside of the same live service one but it's nice to see what new games are coming and and trying demos from time to time.

The goal is to force deprive myself of convenient social interactions and seek them out IRL. Even though conversations I've had with people online felt more authentic, I still felt it was shallow because there's no face to face interaction and how it's so easy to lie on on the internet. These people don't really respect me over their real friends and never will so I don't want to invest anymore of my time into them.

Uninstalling steam isn't enough. You have to take a big step and delete your account. It'll be unrecovarble, you'll lose all your games that you paid money for. That's the only way you'll never get back to steam.

I uninstalled discord, been a handful of months now.
It means I don't really talk to my friends anymore, but that somehow hasn't changed the quality of my life at all, I do enjoy talking to them, but it seems I'm more capable of isolation than I thought.
